The first thing you will notice when you login to Cognos 11 is that to retire the outdated interface that’s long been perceived to be hard to navigate and far from the look and also feel of other modern applications. Brand new layout with context sensitive menus lets you expand and collapse menus to provide more screen real estate.
Cognos 11 Dashboards
You can now build dashboards using the above mentioned data modules with minimum experience in report authoring. An interesting point to note, Cognos itself will recommend best visualisations for the data items that are dragged into the dashboard. Templates and grids further enhance the user experience by making it easy to format and change the sizes of charts.
